Join Lewis and Camilla for a Blues Dancing class designed for returning dancers to Lewis's classes and anyone with Blues experience. This will be ongoing Blues dance training with a focus on technique, turns, simple choreo and refining your musicality, basic steps and embraces.
Improvers/Intermediate/and beyond. Not for beginners.
Giving you more tools and more confidence and deeper connection to your authentic expression in Blues dancing.
PRACTICALITIES
You don't need a partner. Please sign up as Lead, Follow or Switch and bring your full water bottle.
- Please bring a 2nd pair of clean indoor dancing shoes & leave your outside shoes in the shoe rack. You can also dance barefoot.
HOW TO GET TO THE STUDIO
- Collective Cork is a yoga studio inside the Triskel Arts Centre on Tobin Street.
- The entrance is down a back alleyway. If the main door to Triskel is closed you can enter through the GREY side door ( in between the triskel entrance and the Paper Boys cafe)
- Go to the top of the stairs ( follow signs for COLLECTIVE CORK)
- Toilets are on the ground floor by reception and on the first floor
- The yoga studio is on the 2nd floor
- Parking in the city is free on a Sunday, but you will not be able to park too close to the studio, so try up by Barrack Street or by Popes Quay. Or your usual spots.
