Learning by doing is the focus. Participants can expect to take part in hands-on design thinking challenges to experience the practical application for Design Thinking. (No role play!)
What is Design Thinking?
Design Thinking is a human centered process that follows a series of steps to understand and create new and often innovative ways to solve problems.
“Design thinking can be described as a discipline that uses the designer’s sensibility and methods to match people’s needs with what is technologically feasible and what a viable business strategy can convert into customer value and market opportunity”. Tim Brown CEO, IDEO
The design thinking process involves empathy, observation and communication to discover current and future customer unmet needs within the framework and limitations of a particular set of circumstances. Design Thinking defines the opportunity and scope for innovation through ideation, generating creative ideas, testing and refining solutions.
