About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Digitalisation and artificial intelligence represent frontier phenomena. As major developments they are rapidly transforming the very essence of work, organisations, and society. Against the backdrop of both the increasing reach of digitalisation, and the rising capability of artificial intelligence, we bring together a panel of experts to present their research on this evolving field, and to discuss its shaping influence on our work, workplaces, and working lives.

Dr Martin Cunneen will explore the “Big Business of AI”. Professor Elaine Doyle will focus on “AI and the Tax Practitioner”. Professor Martin Mullins will examine “AI in Policing”, while Professor Stephen Kinsella will consider “AI, You and Me”.

The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion with the presenters, along with invited guests, including the Dean of the Kemmy Business School, Professor FinbarrMurphy.

Proffessor Michael Morley, Assistant Dean Research in the School, will chair the panel.

This event may be recorded for future promotional use by the University of Limerick.

All venues are wheelchair accessible but should you have any specific accessibility queries, please contact us at: Research@ul.ie
