Description
Set in a small Irish seaside resort town in the early 1930s, 'Drama at Inish' examines the chaotic behavior of a provincial town when exposed to the dramatic stylings of the De la Mare repertory company.
Inflicting introspective plays on a somewhat unassuming townspeople, the reportory company open a pandoras box of hillarious, and at times, dark calamities.

Lennox Robinson uses 'Drama at Inish' to examine underlying themes pertinent to Irish society in the 1930s such as marriage, death, and disgrace in a way that provides the audience with a most diverting play. First perfomed in the Abbey theatre over 80 years ago, 'Drama at Inish' is as relevent now as it was then.
