About this event

  • 1 day 3 hours

Join the Scale-up Systems training team online for two half-days of Dynochem training focused on Biologics Downstream Applications.

Cover a broad range of operations from centrifugation and depth filtration to virus inactivation and TFF. Take hands-on exercises on several downstream operations. Learn about mixing assessments for media and buffer preparation. Discuss modeling and request enhancements or new capabilities.

Half-Day 1 is planned to focus on Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF). In this session participants will be hands-on to evaluate and compare effects of membrane area, TMP, gel formation, viscosity and crossflow rate as well as trialing the introduction of a buffer and predicting flux versus TMP and feed rate.

Half-Day 2 is planned to focus on mixing and viral inactivation. Participants will be hands-on to simulate and compare mixing times and low pH regions across scales to mitigate aggregation risk.

The course is suited to new and existing Dynochem Biologics users. To participate, you will need a computer with Scale-up Suite installed and internet access. We will provide set-up instructions and training licenses for Dynochem Biologics.

What's included: The registration fee includes attendance for both half-days of training and access to all online training materials.

Refund / cancellation policy:1. Substitutions can be made at any time before the training.2. For cancellations made in writing up to one month before the training, a full refund will be made.3. No refunds can be given for cancellations less than one month before the event.4. Registration is open to Dynochem customers and prospective customers from industry, academia and government.
