E.DSO 3rd FutureGrid Innovation Summit

The E.DSO FutureGrid Innovation Summit will return to Brussels on 11 February 2027, bringing together Europe’s electricity distribution leaders, policymakers, innovators, researchers and industry partners to shape the next phase of Europe’s energy transition.

As electrification accelerates across transport, industry and heating, Europe’s distribution grids are becoming the foundation of a secure, affordable and resilient energy system. DSOs are no longer only infrastructure operators: they are enablers of system-wide innovation, flexibility and digital transformation.

The 2027 edition will focus on three main pillars: artificial intelligence, resilience, and flexibility, exploring how innovation can move from pilot phase into broad deployment and how Europe can accelerate investment, strengthen resilience, and scale practical solutions for the energy transition.
