How are the training dates arranged?

The date shown on the Eventbrite page is for your Essentials Training, and you’ll also see the two Champions Training date options listed there. Once you register, you’ll receive Zoom links for all sessions so you can attend Essentials first, then choose the Champions date that suits you.

What is ADHD Essentials Training all about?

This foundational session explores how ADHD can present in children and young people, the impact of executive functioning, impulsivity, and emotional regulation, and practical strategies for making reasonable adjustments that support learning and behaviour in the classroom.

What is ADHD Champions Training all about?

Accepted Answer

Champions Training builds on Essentials with a deeper look at ADHD and related conditions, practical strategies for learning and wellbeing, and approaches to create ADHD-friendly environments while promoting neurodiversity awareness in your school.

What will I get out of this training?

By the end of the programme, you will have a strong understanding of ADHD and its impact on learning and behaviour, be equipped with classroom-ready strategies to support students, feel confident advocating for ADHD-friendly practices, and be ready to act as a knowledgeable, empowered ADHD Champion

The training sessions won’t be recorded, as they’re designed to be interactive and practical. We’d love you to join us live so you can take part fully and get the most from the experience.

Who is this training for?

Accepted Answer

This training is ideal for individual educators (who are not a part of the ADHD Friendly Schools Programme), including teachers, SNAs, tutors, and education professionals, who want to build their knowledge of ADHD and take practical steps to improve support for neurodiverse students.

Question 7

Will I get a certificate after the training?

Accepted Answer

Yes – you will receive a certificate of attendance once you’ve completed each set of training.
