About the Training:
Primary Essentials and Primary Champions create a clear, progressive pathway for primary educators. Across these two connected sessions, Stephanie supports you in moving from a solid understanding of ADHD to confident, regulation-informed practice in your own classroom. Essentials builds your core knowledge of what ADHD is and how it shows up in primary settings. Champions then takes you further - deepening your insight, exploring strategies that make a real learning impact, and reflecting on how your approach can evolve. Together, these sessions help you move beyond coping to creating an environment where pupils with ADHD can truly thrive.
· Understand what ADHD is (and isn’t) in primary age children including the different presentations and why it’s a neurodevelopmental profile not a behaviour choice.
· Learn how executive function delays drive common classroom struggles like starting tasks, staying organised, remembering instructions and regulating emotions.
· Use practical, realistic adjustments that reduce overload and increase independence through routines, visuals, scaffolds and supportive feedback.
· Build regulation into daily practice with sensory and movement strategies and calm, predictable environments.
· Move into Champions level thinking - strengths-based approaches, confidence-building and system tweaks that stop pupils being punished for skills they’re still developing.
