Description

EIGHT EASY PIECES

The concept of Eight Easy Pieces comes from a famous lecture series given by physicist Richard Feynman at Caltech in the 1960s. These lectures became so popular with his fame that members of the public began trying to sit in on his classes. With this in mind, he eventually published a book in 1994 entitled Six Easy Pieces comprising of his lecture series, with the intention that it could be understood by the layman.

Then came along EIGHT EASY PIECES, by Science Gallery Dublin: a series of eight-minute talks from eight mediators based on their fields of interest, or something that piques their curiosity, and is open to the public to come and see. Come along and listen to our mediators wax lyrical about scientific musings.

Featuring Simon, Kate, Joan, Garvan, Cillian , Annie, Anna, Fiona & Grace, Shaun
