Live Tonite is proud to present the Irish debut show of El Kulegue, the Argentinian fusion rock band, which has gone on to become one of the most successful new Spanish-speaking acts in Latin America.
The band was formed in Buenos Aires, in the heart of the Villa Crespo neighbourhood during the year 2004. Their unique live concerts, where they display their imprint linked to absurdity and improvisation, and their original stage productions, are the hallmark of this group led by the multifaceted Julián Kartun. This combination of factors established El Kuelgue as a different proposal within the Argentine and Latin American music scene.
The band's musical versatility and the combination of multiple styles have captured a generation that no longer chooses music solely by its genre. For over 15 years, the band has been performing their concerts in the most important venues and festivals in Argentina, Latin America, and Europe. In 2016, the band was chosen to open for Paul McCartney's two shows at the Estadio Único de la Plata. In September of last year, El Kuelgue performed at the legendary Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires with sold-out tickets.
