ELT Ireland Annual Event (Dublin 21st Feb 2026)

Teachers’ ClubDublin 1, Dublin
Saturday, Feb 21, 2026 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm GMT
Overview

This is an ELTed event with short talks by teachers for teachers on ideas from practice.

ELT Ireland invites all ELT educators to participate in our 2026 Conference. This year's theme is:

Back to basics and looking ahead: the teaching of English in the 21st century

This event will bring together ELT educators to revisit the core principles that have stood the test of time, and to explore how these foundations can evolve to meet the demands of today’s learners. As we navigate a rapidly changing educational landscape, this conference offers an opportunity to reconnect with essential teaching practices and reimagine their application in modern, diverse, and often digital learning environments.

The event will feature twelve-minute talks from educators across the sector, offering insights into classroom practice, teacher education, research, and management. These sessions aim to spark new ideas, foster collaboration, and celebrate the creativity and adaptability at the heart of English language teaching.

Whether you're a classroom teacher, academic manager, or researcher, the Conference provides a space to share experiences, gain fresh perspectives, and engage with the wider ELT community.

Join us as we honour where we’ve come from, and imagine where we might go next.

Early Bird registration is now open.
