ERC Consolidator Grants worth €2 million are open to researchers 5-15 years post-PhD. The next deadline will be in January 2027. Both grants are for 5 years. Research funded by the ERC is expected to be novel, ambitious, and to advance the frontiers of knowledge. Applicants must have a track record of original and groundbreaking research for their career stage.
