OT Online Programme

Welcome to the OT Online Pilot Programme!

Join us for an interactive online event this pilot occupational therapy programme is delivered online to groups of up to 20 participants. It aims to provide practical strategies to manage arthritis symptoms at work and in daily life. Developed and delivered by OTs, this evidence-based programme covers fatigue management, pain management (including advice on aids and equipment), mental wellbeing (stress management and relaxation techniques), and effective communication at work, including information on entitlements, benefits, and reasonable workplace accommodations

You can learn, connect, and grow from the comfort of your home. No need to travel—just log in and dive into exciting sessions designed especially for you.

This course aims to support that by offering advice and practical strategies for working life. The legal side is also important — helping people understand what they’re entitled to. While protections and financial supports may be limited, there is disability-related guidance that can help both employees and employers.

Sometimes small adjustments, like starting work an hour later to manage morning stiffness, can make a big difference. It’s about helping people approach these conversations with employers, as well as improving comfort through ergonomics and helpful devices. We aim to point people towards supports that can genuinely make a difference.

Course leaders: Senior occupational therapists Kathleen Clancy (St James’ Hospital), Lizzie Kavanagh (St Vincent’s Hospital), and Caroline Keating (Mater Misericordiae University Hospital).

This programme is a 4 week programme will be on on the

13th ,20th,27th, May, 4th June

from 7pm-8.30pm.
