Your Mind Matters - Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Give, Take Notice -
The Feel Good Fair is a welcoming day for adults, to promote positive mental health and wellbeing in our everyday lives. Because no matter how busy life gets, Your Mind Matters.
Guest Speakers will explore the Five Steps to Wellbeing – simple, evidence-based actions that can help us look after our mental health and improve our everyday wellbeing:
Connect – Build and strengthen relationships with family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.
Be Active – Find ways to get moving that you enjoy, whether it’s walking, cycling, dancing or something completely different.
Take Notice – Slow down, be present and take a little more notice of yourself and the world around you.
Keep Learning – Try something new, rediscover an old interest or learn a new skill to build confidence and a sense of achievement.
Give – Experience the feel-good benefits of kindness, from a smile or a thank you to helping someone or volunteering your time.
And there’s much more to enjoy at the Feel Good Fair!
Take time to browse the stands, meet local and regional support services, wellbeing practitioners and therapists, discover what’s available in your community, and enjoy a little retail therapy along the way.
There’ll also be refreshments, a prize draw and plenty of time to catch up with old friends and make new friends.
Whether you’d like to discover new ways to support your wellbeing, find out what’s available locally, meet new people, or simply enjoy a friendly day out, you’ll receive a warm welcome.
Come along, take some time for yourself, connect with others and leave feeling informed, inspired and uplifted.
Feel Good Fair – because Your Mind Matters.
