How do I get there?

Ferries leave for Arranmore from Burtonport. There is a blue ferry company and a red ferry company. Both companies offer a very similar service and departure timetables can be found on their websites here : www.thearranmoreferry.com or www.arranmoreferry.com

Are there shops on the island?

There is one grocery shop on the island beside Teach Phil Bán's pub.

Is there an ATM on the island?

There is no ATM on the island but pub and the shop may offer cashback on purchases. There is also a Post Office open on Saturday morning and cash can be withdrawn from AIB accounts at the Post Office.

Can I speak Irish in Arranmore?

Arranmore is a Gaeltacht island. Most people speak Irish here and the festival is also run through Irish but most events are bilingual in English and Irish.
