FÍS TV Summit 2026

The team at Ardán is back in preparation mode for the next FÍS TV Summit which will be hosted in Galway on February 26th and 27th 2026 – now a two-day event! With the release of an initial round of (free) early bird tickets, we are delighted to announce that our first confirmed panel for 2026 is a Case Study on the hit reality show Traitors Ireland with the good folks over at Kite Entertainment - the production company behind the show.

Already a successful format internationally, the first season of Traitors Ireland captured audiences immediately this past autumn, as the nation invested itself in the 22 Traitor and Faithful participants who played the game of deception in the beautiful surroundings of Slane Castle. Kite Entertainment’s Darren Smith and Mairéad Whelan - as part of a panel of speakers with RTÉ - will delve with attendees into the finer points of researching the show, pitching the format to RTÉ, and producing a knockout series with record-breaking views. This is just the first panel announcement in what promises to be another exciting FÍS TV Summit, and now over two days, so register for your ticket today!

NTA Film & TV’s Pitching Competition - Open for Applications for Unscripted

The NTA Film and TV Drama in collaboration with Ardán and FÍS TV Summit are delighted to invite aspiring creators to submit their innovative unscripted TV show ideas for a chance to pitch to a room of industry professionals at this year's TV Summit.

We are privileged to announce that this year’s NTAFT Pitching Competition will introduce a new award – the Síol award – in memory of the late, great Máire Ní Thuathail.

Now a two-day event, the 2026 Summit we will continue the success of last year’s event with the larger auditorium for panel discussions, a breakout room for case studies, dedicated networking spaces, a complimentary lunch and an evening event hosted onsite at the Radisson RED Hotel in Galway.

Now in its 9th year, FÍS TV Summit 2026 brings creatives from all sectors of the Irish TV industry together to listen, to learn, and to connect with each other alongside a carefully curated slate of local, national, and international guests and experts.

Stakeholders for 2026 include Fís Éireann/ Screen Ireland, Gréasán na Méan Skillnet, TG4, Coimisiún na Meán, Creative Europe Media Desk, Northern Ireland Screen, WRAP, RTÉ.
