The second round of tickets are now available for Ardán's FÍS TV Summit happening on February 26th & 27th, 2026 at the Radisson RED, Galway!
Deep dive on making award-winning series ‘Adolescence’ at FÍS TV Summit 2026!
As we open a second round of (mid-bird) tickets for this year’s 2-day FÍS TV Summit, we are delighted to announce we will be hosting an in-depth conversation with the Producer and Commissioner behind ‘Adolescence’, the record-breaking drama that gripped viewers with its hard-hitting, authentic portrayal of youth and social issues.
The team behind the limited series has been celebrating several well-deserved award wins in recent weeks, and at FÍS TV Summit 2026, Producer Mark Herbert (CEO of Warp Films) and Netflix Commissioner Toby Bentley will be in the room to reflect on the making of this award-winning and critically acclaimed series.
Their conversation will serve - amongst other interesting insights - as a springboard to discuss the important collaborative dynamics needed to bring ambitious projects to life.
FÍS TV Summit 2026: Day 1 - an all-day event & Day 2 – half-day event
Now a two-day event, the 2026 Summit we will continue the success of last year’s conference with a larger auditorium for panel discussions, a breakout room for case studies, dedicated networking spaces, a complimentary lunch and an evening event hosted at the Radisson RED Rooftop Bar. Please note: Thursday, February 26th is an all-day event followed by the networking evening, and Friday, February 27th will be a half-day only. Tickets are free for both days, but you will need to register separately.
Exploring the Worlds of Scripted & Unscripted Irish & International TV
FÍS TV Summit will see panels exploring the worlds of Scripted and Unscripted Television at an Irish and at a global level. Across Thursday 26th and Friday 27th we will continue with our case studies on homegrown dramas including ‘Hidden Assets’, ‘Blue Lights’ and ‘The Walsh Sisters’. We’ll also have a fascinating case study on career progression with award-winning Film & TV Producer Brian J. Falconer (Out of Orbit), where we’ll get to hear the story of how Falconer went from producing his first short film to delivering ‘How to Get to Heaven from Belfast’ for a major platform like Netflix. We’ll host conversations on the state of the TV sector and trends coming down the line. We’ll also welcome national and international commissioners to speak with our audience.
We will have the Pitching Competition, hosted by the NTA Film & TV, and this year the pitches will be focused on the next great Unscripted ideas for TV. We will also introduce the new Síol Award, in memory of the late Irish-language TV Producer Máire Ní Thuathail.
As well as the previously announced ‘Traitors Ireland’ panel with Kite Entertainment’s Darren Smith and Mairéad Whelan and more to be announced, the Summit will include conversations on the new Unscripted Tax Incentive and what that means for the sector.
