Loud Sunset is a one-day food festival organised by South East Events Ltd. In line with gov.ie (2023) requirements, the event will use locally sourced food as far as reasonably possible to promote local produce, authentic culinary and traditional skills. Fáilte Ireland (2023) show that increasingly visitors are seeking for unique and authentic experiences and are willing to pay more for good quality food and personalised experiences. According to Conghaile (2019), Wexford is positioned to become a culinary destination due to its range of local producers. Fáilte Ireland (2023) believe that food is an influencing factor for visitors, particularly Millennials and Generation Z, when deciding on a holiday destination and short term break locations. South East Events wishes to capitalise on these trends and play a part in helping the Wexford Agri Tourism sector reach its full potential. The event will take place on 08 June 2024.
