This three hour workshop delves into the art of foraging unraveling the medicinal secrets and nutritional value of Irish Wild herbs. Participants learn to identify a wide range of Wild Irish Herbs according to the seasons and the various methods of extraction and preservation are discussed. Tara will demonstrate how to make a vitamin rich tonic for Winter and everyone can sample an array of wild foods on the day. Participants are gifted a booklet of wild food recipes to try at home and a hand-rolled beeswax candle as a memento of the day. This workshop is practical, accessible and good fun.
