FREE one-day Sustainable Gardening Workshop run by horticulturist Aoife Munn and brought to you by Tyrrellspass Tidy Towns, through REACH funding from Longford and Westmeath Education Training Board (LWETB).
This course will cover planting for pollinators, pond building, vegetable growing, dealing with pests organically, taking cuttings, new thinking in planting techniques and much more on how you can garden in a way that supports biodiversity.
It will be held on Thursday 6th of June from 10am to 4pm in The Old School, The Crescent, Tyrrellspass, N91 W990
This course is suitable for adults who want to garden for biodiversity. The course is lively and interactive and we will be doing practical work too. While we will be inside if there are any heavy showers we may ignore a light passing shower so do dress accordingly please.
All information provided will be shared with Aoife Mun,Tyrrellspass Tidy Towns & LWETB for the purposes of administering and running the workshop. All participants will also need to provide their pps number to allow us to access the funding for this course and prove participation.
