Future Oak Farm Volunteer Day - Sunday 19th 2024.
Get involved, meet new people, and play a part in making our regenerative farming project even more impactful for 2024!
In the old tradition of transhumance, we are walking the herd a few miles through the Glen to their summer grazing grounds and we could do with a few folk to fill gaps along the way! This is a fun way to get up close and personal with the herd and get an insight into how we plan and manage our grazing throughout the year. There'll also be plenty of craic we'll be met with a tasty lunch at journey's end.
Following lunch, we have a hundred trees to plant which were kindly gifted to the project by a neighbour.
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to lending a hand, everyone is welcome to join.
