GBTQ+ Mens Spring Retreat: Strength In Connection 3rd -5th May

James and Sean are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to men in the gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (GBTQ) community to join them for a unique retreat designed to foster "Strength in Connection." This gathering is aimed at men identifying people as a space for self-care, healing, and building connections within the GBTQ community.

Retreat Details:

Dates: From Friday, 3rd of May, beginning at 6:00 PM, through Sunday, 5th of May, ending at 3:30 PM.

Location: Slí an Chroí Retreat Centre, St. Patrick's, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow. This peaceful retreat house is situated just over an hour from Dublin City. Known for its serene atmosphere and welcoming spirit, Slí an Chroí has been a cherished location for our retreats for the past seven years. Its beautiful grounds and house, not tied to any religious affiliation, offer the ideal setting for our time together.

About the Retreat:

This retreat celebrates strength found in connection, specifically curated for the GBTQ community. Over this weekend, we'll embark on a journey of sharing, nature, reflection, and connection. You'll be invited to participate in activities designed to deepen awareness and foster connections, including drumming, breath-work, ritual, fire ceremonies, silence, small group discussions, and time spent in nature with practices such as forest bathing and solo time. We will also engage in creative activities to help reconnect with our inner selves.

Your Hosts:

James: An accredited psychotherapist with the IACP, eco/forest therapist, sound therapist, and shamanic practitioner. James brings a deep connection to nature and shamanic practices, supported by his background in transpersonal psychology. He has a special commitment to the mental health and well-being of the LGBTQ community.

Sean: A Satir Coach and Mentor, Mind coach, and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner, certified with the Irish Institute of NLP. Sean's passion for mind, body, and spiritual wellness is complemented by his training in various energy and bodywork modalities.

For Participants:

This retreat is specifically designed for men in the GBTQ community seeking a supportive environment for self-care and healing among peers. The retreat is open all men-identified persons int the GBTQ community who are over the age of 18.

Accommodation and Meals:

Accommodations are provided in simple, comfortable twin and single rooms with shared bathrooms on each floor, ensuring participants have their own private space to engage with the retreat experience fully. All meals served during the retreat will be vegan, with accommodations available for people who are gluten intolerant..

Fee:

The retreat fee is €350, including all sessions, accommodation for two nights and three days, and all meals and snacks. To maintain an intimate and supportive atmosphere, attendance is limited to 16 participants.

Registration is through a provided Eventbrite link, and your place is confirmed upon payment.

Refund Policy:

Full refunds minus the Eventbrite fee are available until the 18th of April.

Partial refunds, minus the cost of accommodation and an admin fee, are available until the 24th of April.

After the 24th, refunds are unavailable unless there are extreme circumstances, minus room cost and Eventbrite fee.
