Description
The countdown is on with less than 6 months to go before the new data protection rules, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), will apply to all EU member states.
Results from the January 2018 GDPR Survey from ISME Members

Only 38% could name some of the changes GDPR will bring.

70% have not identified steps/actions that will need to take place to be GDPR compliant.

76% are concerned about GDPR.

32% are planning to get outside help to assist them with GDPR compliance.

67% would like to see training offered on GDPR
Based on these finding, ISME Skillnet have designed GDPR Preparation training sessions entitled GDPR Essentials for SMEs.specifically aimed at SMEs and business owners. The first session will take place on Thursday, 15th February in the Clayton Hotel, Liffey Valley, Dublin.
The training will be hands-on, active learning sessions to assist you on how to get started and what it means to your business. Learn what you actually need to know and what the exact steps an SME needs to take are!
