Folk Duo Ger O Donnell & Trevor Sexton, the most amazing duo to have come out of Ireland in recent times. They have individually been making waves on the folk scene worldwide, and are really exciting as a duo for the last few years. Ger, hailing from Co. Clare who is known for his distinctive vocal and highly individual guitar style has been musical director for Dolores Keane in recent times and is vocalist/guitarist with the Kilfenora Ceili Band. He has had several top 10 hits, including several recent Irish number 1 hits. Trevor from neighbouring Limerick has a tremendous vocal that is not to be missed. They play guitar, piano, double bass, banjo, bouzouki, bodhran and Irish whistles live.Their instrumental styles make this duo something special and excitingly complementary. In the last couple of years they have worked with Dolores Keane, Paul Brady, Sean Keane, Mick Hanly, Sharon Shannon, Cherish the Ladies and countless others. They’re just back from their US and European tours and are excited to play for their home audiences.
