Event description
As part of HEROutdoors Week, we are offering women the opportunity to get out on the water and Give It A Row for their first time.

About this event

Rowing Ireland's Women in Sport and Cork Sports Partnership have come together to offer a GIVE IT A ROW Day over two separate days in Cork's Marina.

  • Cork Boat Club on Saturday, 7th August
  • Shandon Rowing Club on Friday, 13th August

Throughout the day you can book in for a session and get the opportunity to see your local river from an entirely different perspective.

The 1- hour sessions, will run through a demonstration on-land. Then you'll have the chance to try it yourself in one of our 4-person touring boats, which are highly suitable for beginners. There will be plenty of experienced instructors on hand to make you feel comfortable and have a great first experience in a rowing boat.

This event is for Women 18 and older.

We will ensure that all Covid -19 measures are in place each day for the safety of everyone involved.
