Ar an Eilean Sgitheanach (Eilean a&#x27; Cheò) a bhí Rody agus an dúlra mar chompánach aige: an chuach ag glaoch is an tsailchuach faoi bhláth, na coinnle corra á bheannú ón gcnoc. Tá greann ann chomh maith nuair is céilí beag ag dhá cheann an tsiopa é an scaradh sóisialta, nó é ag insint scéilíní don chlapsholas ar zúm. Cloisfear ceol atmaisféarach agus glórtha ón dúlra, agus feicfear grianghraif is obair ealaíne a bheidh ag freagairt do na dánta.During the covid-19 lockdown, Rody Gorman wrote a series of over a hundred remarkable poems in Scottish Gaelic and English that form a lyrical diary of the strange time in which an epidemic became a pandemic, and humanity found itself without defences. Within lockdown on the Isle of Skye, Gorman found himself attending to nature – from the sounds of the cuckoo to the flourishing of violets and bluebells on the hillsides. There are comic moments where social distancing becomes a ‘wee ceilidh at the two ends of the shop’ or ‘telling stories to dusk’ on zoom. Here also are sad moments, of sparsely attended funerals and lone pipers. But within these poems there is a keen sense of life and community surviving against the odds, and a celebration of days of silence and beauty. Glasadh feature a selection of these poems recited by Gorman himself, and accompanied by music and sound effects composed by Liam Grant, and fused with photos and art responding to the texts, created by Margaret Lonergan.<a href="https://youtu.be/5zGgu0i3H70" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CLICK HERE TO WATCH GLASADH</a>
