Join the Climate Love Ireland community and help the Glenmalure Valley keep its beauty and come to our nature walk & litter pick event.
About this event
Glenmalure is a stunning place of natural beauty. But unfortunately, it's also a place with a lot of litter due to campers and hikers who leave their rubbish after they enjoyed their stay in the valley.
Climate Love Ireland and Forest Bathing Wicklow are organizing a nature walk & litter pick event in the Glenmalure Valley. We will end our cleaning up with a forest bathing walk. This will deepen our appreciation for nature and her beauty.
This clean up will be filmed for the RTE/VIP series 'What Planet Are You On?'. Participants need to be aware they might be filmed.
- We will meet at 2 pm at the Ballinafunshogue Waterfall car park
- Everyone will get pickers and/or gloves and bags
- After an hour of litter picking, we will go on a short forest bathing walk
- We wrap up around 4 pm
- A post clean-up hang out in the Glenamlure Lodge is optional for those who'd like to chat and meet more of the CLI community
- This is a free event but there will be a donation box on site for those who want to support our work
