Overview:

Global Village is delighted to invite primary school teachers across Ireland to participate in a dynamic and engaging Global Citizenship Education (GCE) themed Teach Meet event, ‘GCE in the Primary Classroom: Local and Global Voices for Social Justice’. This collaborative and participatory gathering aims to provide educators with valuable insights, resources, and practical strategies to integrate GCE themes of inclusivity and social justice into their classrooms, fostering a sense of global citizenship among their students.

· Embedding Global Citizenship into the Primary Curriculum

· Use of story for teaching Global Citizenship Education


Objective:

The primary objective of this Teach Meet event is to empower primary school teachers with the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to incorporate GCE themes of unity and social justice into their teaching practices. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from each other's experiences, and gain access to a variety of resources to enhance their ability to nurture globally aware and responsible citizens.
