Goblin Issue 2 Launch Party

Goblin magazine released its first issue on december 1st 2018 to a large reception, packing out rathmines MART venue with the first irish skateboard magazine release in over ten years. since its launch goblin has tried to bridge the gap between the low key culture of skateboarding to a broader audience, showcasing some of irelands finest skateboarders, artists, photographers and videographers. Afterlife is goblins first full length skateboard video capturing over 40 skateboarders from across the country.

This is going to be an amazing night for Irish Skateboarding. We will be hosting video premiers from Goblin Magazine, ICYP, Ministry of Sleep and others. Expect a market with fresh merchandise from Goblin, Kurb Junki, Killing Time and Ministry of Sleep along with prints & more. Mischief will be supplying food throughout the night. 
 
Goblin Magazine is packed with interviews, articles, photography and artwork that connect with Irish Skateboarding. This issue highlights how gentrification is affecting Ireland’s culture and heritage. We take a deep look into how skateboarding bridges gaps left in communities while we also touch on issues surrounding mental health and lifestyle choices.
 
Our goal is to bring different communities from all across the country together and celebrate the Irish skate scene with their friends and family. Since the humble beginnings of Irish Skateboarding we have never had an outlet that serves as a vocal point to the outside world. We aim to fill this void by consistently bringing you quality content and pushing the next generation of skateboarders through projects and events.
 
As always we bring with us humorous tales of misfortune and glory. Goblin Magazine is a time capsule that cherishes Irish Skateboarding while also giving it a voice for the future.
