Gorilla Gorilla is a 5-piece alternative, post punk band based in Cork City, Ireland. Drawing inspiration from the early 2000s grunge and rock scene, these Leeside talents embrace the classic Irish tradition of storytelling sized up with a thunderous beat and rebel attitude to match as they “electrocute all with their live wire performance,” (Hot Press) charged with their charismatic nature which welcomes the audience to join in on their monkey business. Their musical genres range from alternative rock to post-punk to grunge making their sets a versatile experience. Too weird to be normal, too normal to be weird. Being trapped between two worlds, while never fully belonging to either, is the sound of Other Mother. Driven guitars, melodious piano, thumping bass, and lyrics that put into words what’s so often impossible to explain, Other Mother mixes dichotomous instrumentation to tell the exact story they mean to. Sakura is a rising indie rock band from Galway, crafting emotionally raw music that blends poetic lyricism with powerful alt-pop and rock influences. Drawing from Irish storytelling traditions and contemporary indie sounds, their music moves between vulnerability and intensity…where personal reflection meets distortion.With their debut single '.45' being recently released from their upcoming EP, Sakura are quickly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting new acts emerging from Ireland’s indie scene.
