GPs and healthcare professionals are invited to a specialist webinar from St Patrick's Mental Health Services on complex trauma.

In the third instalment of the 2025 GP Webinar Series from St Patrick's Mental Health Services (SPMHS), Dr Niamh Willis, Senior Clinical Psychologist at SPMHS, will discuss complex trauma.This hour-long webinar will focus on:<ul><li>the presentation of complex trauma in clinical practice</li><li>the sequela of difficulties that can occur due to trauma exposure.</li></ul>An overview of the research on current interventions being used to address complex trauma will be presented and discussed. There will be a discussion of practical considerations for professionals wishing to work with people in a manner that is more trauma-informed.GPs can submit their questions in advance by emailing communications@stpatricks.ie or during the webinar using the Q&amp;A function on Zoom.This activity has been accredited by the Irish College of GPs for one credit and can be recorded as Accredited CE.Please email communications@stpatricks.ie with any queries or accessibility requirements you have for this event.
