Join renowned Irish artist Eimear Crehan as part of her mesmerising ‘Grá Mór’ tour across Ireland, where her extraordinary ability to captivate audiences turns theatres into vibrant hubs of emotion and connection. Eimear’s voice, weaving a tapestry of deep feelings, enchants and moves her audience, transcending ordinary performances.
Unique to this tour is her collaboration with choirs, blending communal choral power with her intimate solo artistry, creating an ethereal, unified concert experience. The Voiceworks Indie Choir is a warm community of Female Adult Singers hailing from County Cork. The group performs contemporary pop pieces from Radiohead to ABBA or to Beatles numbers. A choir favourite is ‘Bonse Aba’, a Zambian Folk song. ‘Craic agus ceol’ is an Irish saying that the Indie Choir make sure to follow - there’s always laughter and lovely harmonies at each rehearsal. A choir highlight was getting to share the Cork Opera House Stage and perform with Damien Rice in 2019.
This concert will be performed at Cork's famous Marina Market. Marina Market Cork is a hub for what's up and coming in the city, a food lover's haven, it is the largest indoor and outdoor market in the city. With over 35 food vendors, 5 retail units and a pet friendly and family friendly atmosphere, this event will be the perfect May day out to catch some sun, sample great food and be apart of a magical musical journey!
