Discover foundational techniques for sculpting glass at the torch, including bridging, solid-sculpting, and lace work. Emma's teaching will be complimented by Cheryl Browne owner of Mulranny arts. She will instruct on beadmaking and pattern forming on a small scale at the torch. The class will be divided into two groups alternating from beadmaking skills to larger format work during the three days.

Along with expert guidance from Emma and Cheryl in the well-equipped flameworking studio, there will be time for student interaction, networking events and brainstorming ideas. The GSoI will invite all course participants to take part in the evening presentation dicussing their own work for 5 mins in an informal chat and information sharing.
