Having enchanted audiences with her musician colleagues of the Hermes Experiment last year, the French-born soprano and composer Héloïse Werner returns to DICMF this season, bringing with her the “quixotic and otherworldly” (The Guardian) British cellist/composer Colin Alexander.
Combining virtuosic vocals and mesmerising cello techniques, the duo present a fascinating programme of their own compositions performed alongside works by Hildegard of Bingen, Julie Pinel and Oliver Leith.
