About this event

Help Shape a Thriving and Sustainable Tipperary!

The Community Climate Coaches would like to invite people and representatives of local organisations to a series of free sessions being held across County Tipperary in April and May.

As the climate changes, how can we engage people and our communities in restoring biodiversity and addressing ecological challenges together?

  • Hear the stories of community-led actions and local initiatives already making a positive impact on our environment, economy, and health.
  • Take part in facilitated conversations that enhance understanding of the challenges and opportunities for our communities
  • Create a Community Wellbeing and Climate Resilience Map for County Tipperary.

These events will creatively explore how we can strengthen the well-being and climate resilience of our local places through the power of community-led action and local development.

This event will take place in Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District - Sunday April 27th, 11.00 - 13.00 Knockanrawley Resource Centre, E34 D832 and the theme is Nature & Place Connection: Discover the essential connection between nature, our health, and climate resilience. This session will take place partly outdoors, showcase local initiatives and highlight Ireland's 4th National Biodiversity Action Plan (NBAP) and the All Ireland Pollinator Plan.

We look forward to seeing you there!
