What does the ticket include?

Tickets bought online include admission and two 100 gram bag of colors of the available selection. This is extremely good value for money. If you buy the ticket at the door, the colors are not included.

Question 3

Are the colors safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the colors are safe. As per manufacturer, they are 100% natural made with corn starch and food colouring. You can also use them with your pets. They are gluten free, allergen-free, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. They have European health and safety certificates.

Is there a kids section?

Yes, we plan on having a kids section. There will be Garda vetted members of the club looking after this section. This is a family event that everyone can enjoy. However, ultimately the kids' responsibility lies with their respective guardians, so we do not advise leaving them unattended.

What should I wear?

You should wear something comfortable. You should avoid wearing your favorite clothes. Although, the colors will come off after a machine wash, Holi is meant to be messy. Also, be prepared to get wet.

Is there parking?

Parking is available inside the club and outside once the indoor park is full.

Is there food and drinks?

Yes, we have a fully functional bar. We are planning to make Indian food made available at stalls. Outside food and drinks are not permitted into the event.

Yes, there is a family discount for a family of four people

Can I get my own colors?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately for safety and planning reasons, we cannot allow people to bring their own colors. Colors are available for purchase at a very nominal price inside, and if you purchase ticket online two bags of colors are included in the price.

What happens if it rains?

Usually, a little bit of rain can add to the fun, so the event will still go ahead.

Are there facilities for washing afterwards?

There will be a an area to wash outside with a hose. We are also providing ponchos from the club. These will cover you if you want to sit in the car or take the train afterwards.

I am traveling  from Dublin to Skerries station. Can you arrange something to get to the club?

We are in talks with local taxi drivers who will do this for a fixed cost. This will be around 2 euros per person to get to the club. This can only be arranged if you let us know many days in advance, so reach out to the contact below if you need this.

Who is benefitting from this event?

This is a not for profit event. It is created as a cultural event open for public, and all benefit goes to the Hills Cricket Club, a not for profit body.
