On June 13th 2019 Ireland’s National Bioeconomy Campus will host a showcase event focused on the digitisation of Ireland’s agri-food, forestry and bioeconomy sectors. The event will shine a light on the opportunities for technology to play an important role in improving the efficiency and integrity of Ireland’s rural supply chains. Leading digital technology providers will demo their latest innovations, and delegates from the agri-food, forestry and bioeconomy sectors will learn about the role that ICT, Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things is playing to digitise the EU bioeconomy. The event will also see the launch of ICT-BIOCHAIN Europe’s first Digital Innovation Hub for a Circular Bioeconomy, a Biobased Industry Joint Undertaking network which will support Ireland’s transition to a competitive data-driven bioeconomy.
