Impro Brussels and Plate Mixte present - Stageworks Night!
Two semi-professional shows, for two nights of pure Improv gold.
The evening starts with EIGHT WORLDS, a show where the stories of the actors mix with those of the audience and create a path of different Improv narratives, each one with its own color and feel. The second show of the evening is ALL STRINGS ATTACHED, a dreamy format that bends the rules of spacetime and reality, and it will take you to "that place between sleep and awake, that place where you still remember dreaming".

19:30 EIGHT WORLDS
Have you ever shared a memory that sparked something bigger? In Eight Worlds, your stories become the seeds of theatrical magic - all created live, unscripted, and unrehearsed. Our international ensemble starts by gathering moments from the audience - your experiences, your memories, your life's little turning points. Then, right before your eyes, these familiar moments transform into four different worlds that might collide, connect, or completely surprise you.
What makes this show special? It's pure improvisation powered by your lives. Maybe that awkward first date becomes an epic romance, or that missed train leads to an unexpected adventure - all created in the moment, inspired by your stories. There's no script, no preparation, just the thrill of watching your everyday moments unlock doorways to entirely new universes.
All the unexpected could and will happen, in this improvised show that sets its roots back in 2012 in Rome, where the Italian company Trama Libera Tutti created it and made it famous. Today eight amazing improvisers are bringing to life again this breathtaking format, directed by one of its original creators.

21:30 ALL STRINGS ATTACHED
Did you ever feel so close to someone, that it would comfort you, or constrict you? All Strings Attached is a dreamy, anything-can-happen improv show where the connections aren’t just felt, they’re seen. Using scarves and pashminas, the actors create shifting “ties” that stretch, tangle, tighten, or fall away as the story unfolds.
The vibe is warm, emotional, and somewhat surreal. One moment an actor might be someone’s best friend, and the next they're the physical embodiment of distance, jealousy, comfort, or that one feeling you can’t quite name. They might even become a lamp with opinions, a suitcase full of memories, or a door that really doesn’t want to be opened.
Physical contact is a big part of how the performers communicate and transform, so expect an experience that feels alive, fluid, and deeply connected.
This is not a format that tells you what to do, it's truly a discovery every night.
This format was developed by Impro Brussels in 2024 and has been playing regularly for the last year.
