How does the virtual workshop work?

On the Eventbrite page you’ll find: virtual workshop video, Teacher’s Notes, and feedback forms. Begin by filling out the pre-workshop form. Next, download and print the Teacher’s Notes, as there is an activity on pages 17-18. Finally, stick on the video and let your class enjoy!

How long is the workshop?

The video itself is 30 minutes. Including the activities, the workshop takes approximately 90 minutes.

Should I print the Teacher's Notes?

We recommend printing for your ease. Pages 17-18 contain an activity for your students, several of which should be printed depending on the size of your class.

Print one copy of page 19 for the decomposition activity.

What do I need in my classroom for this workshop?

1) Somewhere to project the video (eg. whiteboard).

2) Scissors, paper, glue & clean dry plastic packaging for the art activity. We recommend asking your students to bring in their own packaging eg. sweet wrappers, aluminium, newspaper.

3) Print pages 17-19 of the Teacher's Notes.
