About this event
The Embassy of the Republic of Botswana to the Kingdom of Belgium and Mission to the European Union in partnership with Flanders Investment and Trade, invite you to an event under the theme: “Introduction to Botswana and the Trade Opportunities”, on 14th December 2022, at 1500 hours, in Brussels, Belgium.
The event will involve key stakeholders in Botswana including the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) and the Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA).
The event will target six (6) of Botswana’s development priority areas:
- Mineral Beneficiation;
- Agriculture and Agri-business;
- Renewable Energy;
- Pharmaceuticals;
- Digitalization; and
- Finance and Knowledge Intensive Business Services (FKIBS).
The event aims to:
- Introduce Botswana and her import and export opportunities.
- Promote Botswana as a premier trade partner and a gateway to the African market.
- Create awareness about the strategic partnership and collaboration priority sectors in Botswana.
- Create a platform for an exchange of ideas and experiences with Botswana stakeholders.
- Facilitate interaction and networking between experts, the private sector and the Botswana Government.
