Description

Belgium has one of the lowest degrees of in-work poverty in Europe. However, other countries should fast developments due to disruptive challenges on the the labour market and in the demography. We have investigated how labour market institutions, job mobility and social policy, and discrimination cause low-wage work and poverty risks.

The findings from the research will be complemented by additional points of views, highlighting the importance of work for inclusion, the particularities of working with people in poverty, and replies from policy to the challenges ahead.
