Renewable Gas Forum Ireland (RGFI) is the established biomethane industry forum based in Ireland. It is a not-for-profit, registered entity, set up in 2014, with the purpose of influencing policy, legislation and regulation, while developing suitable market conditions, route to market in consultation and collaboration with representation from the full supply chain, to enable the growth of a sustainable, indigenous biomethane industry here.

RGFI is a proactive member of the EBA, ERGaR and provides sectoral representation for Ireland on the BIP, which is guiding strategic approaches across Europe.

We have worked closely with our members and with the Government of Ireland on the National Biomethane Strategy, and the Renewable Heat Obligation Scheme and we look forward to continuing to provide cohesion through sectoral and member representation across the full supply chain , facilitating collaboration and strategic approaches, during development and delivery, with a roadmap to 2030.
