‘Showcasing the Soundtrack to Ireland’s Future’

Ireland Music Week is an independent festival & music conference dedicated to showcasing the very best in new Irish music.

Ireland Music Week is an important event in an artists’ development and profile in the music industry. The main aim is to allow both industry and fans to witness the next crop of Irish talent. The showcases and the robust and busy conference schedule maintain IMW’s essential presence as a key international-facing showcase event. We are in our 22nd year as a festival.

Many artists go on to showcase at some of international festivals that Music From Ireland partners with each year.

Since our inception in 2003, Ireland Music Week's showcase has given a platform to some of Ireland’s best-known acts, and carved out a strong, uncompromising identity. Applications for 2024 showcasing acts open soon. Check out our 2023 showcasing artists here.

Previous IMW showcasing acts include Fontaines D.C., David Keenan, Denise Chaila, Kynsy, CMAT, Ellie O’Neill, Sweetlemondae, Last Apollo, Aoife Nessa Frances, Sprints, M(h)aol, Niamh Regan, Pretty Happy, Pillow Queens, THUMPER, Saint Sister, Wyvern Lingo, Just Mustard, Villagers, Hozier, Gilla Band, Jape, The Coronas, Talos, Le Boom, Loah, Soak, Sinead O’ Brien, Æ Mak, Gurriers, Ailbhe Reddy, MELTS, April, Jyellowl, Somebody’s Child, Junior Brother, Caleb Kunle and many more.

The Ireland Music Week conference also provides artists a chance to learn and develop their craft, and create new opportunities with agents, labels, bookers, music supervisors, and services from all over the world. From workshops and panels, to master classes and speed sessions, our conference gives artists, and those who support them, the tools and network they need to sustain a career in music.

We look forward to seeing you at Ireland Music Week 2024. For more information visit our website here.
