Join us at The Slow Concept in Dingle Marina for Irish Design 2050, a three-evening conversation series presented as part of Irish Design Week 2026.

Bringing together Irish designers, makers, emerging talent and the public, the series explores the stories behind Irish design, the role creativity can play in building a more sustainable future, and what Irish design might look like by 2050.

Meet the people behind Irish design and hear about the stories, inspiration and creative journeys that shape their work.

Thursday 12 November — Can Design Change the World?: The Purpose
Explore how creativity, circularity and innovation can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Saturday 14 November — What’s Next?: The Future
Established designers and emerging talent look ahead and imagine what Irish design could become by 2050.

These are conversations, not lectures — relaxed, engaging evenings designed for everyone, whether you work in design, are studying it, love Irish creativity or are simply curious about the people and ideas shaping its future.
