It's that time of year folks!

The Irish Game Dev Holiday Party is back on this year!

This is THE once a year event for game developers in Ireland to meet up face to face, catch up and hang out.

This year the party is on Friday Dec 8th in ‘Against the Grainhttps://galwaybaybrewery.com/againstthegrain/ (When you come in through the front door you take a left, go through the door there and go upstairs to find us)

The party will start at 6pm and run until late.

The Party is free in with a free drink for the first 50 to arrive and food thanks to our wonderful sponsors! (But you must sign up on the eventbrite page for a ticket to get in.)

Tickets are limited to 60 attendees so make sure to grab yours now.

We'll have a donations jar at the bar on the night collecting for ‘Muslim Sisters of Eire’ who are feeding many houseless people in Dublin during the winter.

(DUE TO RECENT INSTANCES OF COVID, COLD AND FLU - We ask that attendees who are feeling at all sick do not attend on the night and returnt their ticket to be given to someone else. All attendees are requested to wear masks on the night when possible.)


Charter of Behaviour

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our events are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

  • All attendees must behave in a courteous and respectful manner towards others.
  • Attendees will not engage in the following behaviours that are not tolerated by the organisers including, but not limited to:
    • Harassment/sexual harassment
    • Bullying
    • Violence or threats of violence
    • Stalking or deliberate intimidation
    • Publication of confidential or sensitive communication
    • Unwelcome comments regarding another person’s lifestyle choices or practices.
    • Excessive consumption of alcohol that mean boundaries and respectful behaviours cannot be maintained.
  • If while attending the event you have a complaint about another attendee you can reach out to an organiser. They will:
    • Talk with you privately.
    • Discuss recourse that you are comfortable with.
  • The Irish Game Dev Holiday Party is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion.
  • Event participants violating these rules may be expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organisers.
