<P><SPAN>Join us for Irish Stand - a night of resistance and hope one year to the day from the election of Donald Trump. Irish luminaries such as <STRONG></STRONG><STRONG>Panti Bliss, Frances Black, David O'Doherty, Farah Elle, Sinead Burke, <STRONG>Nava, </STRONG>Razan Ibraheem, Felicia Olusanya</STRONG> and <STRONG>Terry McGovern</STRONG>--among many other writers, musicians, activists and poets- reclaim the immigrant story of the Irish in support of the Irish Refugee Council's Direct Provision projects. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>Following on from an Irish Stand event on St. Patrick's day in New York City this past year, which featured 1500 people and raised $20,000 for the ACLU, this Dublin event turns the focus onto our own shores, and looks at how we can stand against anti-immigrant rhetoric and human rights challenges here at home. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>Other special guests will be added to the lineup! Join us to help raise money to fight racism, support powerful projects for refugees and the undocumented, and help build a better Ireland. Tickets are priced at €21:60 - the amount a person in Direct Provision survives on each week.</SPAN></P>
