ItzNOTacon
Uh oh! Itzacon ran into a problem and needs to reboot. In the mean time, come along to our free event (NOT a con) instead!
Uh oh! Itzacon ran into a problem and needs to reboot. In the mean time, come along to our free event (NOT a con) instead!
Happening in the Bailey Allen on Sat 28th of Feb and Sun 1st of March, we will have a plethora of board games, card games and even some war games available to play!
TTRPGs are very welcome, we will have the whole hall scattered with tables that you can claim for a weekend long session. If you don't already have an adventuring party at the ready, our lovely committee and University society members will be running some open-to-the-public games; whoever comes first gets a spot! You are very welcome to come along and run a game yourself, just let one of our volunteers know that your there on the day, what you're running, what's the age restriction for players and how many people you want to run the game for and we can help organise people to play with.
There will be free tea/coffee and snacks available throughout the weekend to keep your energy levels high and the game tactics sharp. We will have a desk inside the door with volunteers and committee members if there are any questions or issues throughout the day.
Feel free to pop along even if you haven't booked a ticket in advance; this is mainly just here to get rough ideas of numbers before the day so we can make sure to have enough snacks and tables ready :) Your free to come and go throughout the day/weekend, we promise you don't have to stay for the whole 32 hours!
A heartfelt thank you to the people who have attended and supported Itzacon the past two years after our revival! We're very sorry we couldn't get the convention organised in time for this year but we hope this might help slightly fill the void in the mean time and we promise, we'll be back and better than ever in 2027, we've already started the planning!
If for whatever reason you have money burning a hole in your pocket that you had intended to throw our way, we would highly encourage to send that money to Galway Autism Partnership instead, a charity supporting young people diagnosed with ASD and their families in the community:
