Learn how to make a silver ring. Measure your ring size, decide about width, thickness and profile, cut metal to size and shape using wooden mallet and ring mandrel. Watch your ring being soldered by the tutor or try it yourself under an expert guidance. File the ring to give it the desired shape and profile and decorate it with hamered finish or make it smooth and shiny.
Jewellery making workshops are focused on learning the basics of metal work. Small classes of max 5 students are led by award winning jewellery designer Filip Vanas in his studio in Marlay park, Dublin. Materials needed for class are included, extras are available to purchase at the workshop. Tea & coffee provided.
