J.J.'s Whiskey Tasting with Clonakilty Distillery

Guests will be treated to a Minke gin on arrival followed by a measure of Clonakilty's three core whiskey’s; Double Oak, Port Cask and Bordeaux Cask.

Each guest will receive a €5.00 'money off' voucher when purchasing any Clonakilty Distillery product.

We will also run a raffle for two passes to a Clonakilty Distillery Tour.

Clonakilty Double Oak

• NOSE - soft spices, vanilla, fresh cut grass, slightly perfumed, ripe apple/pear notes. Fresh leather tones.
• PALATE - warm spices – cubeb pepper and ginger. Fresh cut grass, hazelnut and almond notes.
• FINISH - long finish with vanilla sweetness and spices lingering on the palate.

​Clonakilty Port Cask Finish

• NOSE - fresh, sweet apples, ripe peaches and vanilla, creamy with a hint of wood character in the background.
• PALATE - very fruity with cherries, raisins and soft spices, some chilli and cardamom.
• FINISH - middle long with soft spice and a hint of chocolate.

​Clonakilty Bordeaux Cask Finish (Single Grain)

• NOSE - toasted oak & sweet red berries.
• PALATE - fruity with flavours of strawberries, honey, vanilla and wood spice.
• FINISH - wood spice & a hint of cracked pepper.
