These are the ideal solution for puppies up to five months old!

Over the course of a month, you'll attend four classes in St Anne's Park, Raheny. Your puppy will have the opportunity to hang out with a small group of other puppies, take part in some fun activities, and learn some useful life-skills like coming when called, walking nicely on the lead and road safety.

You'll also have access to four Zoom sessions where you'll learn all about caring for your puppy and how to create a lifestyle that meets their doggy needs, and reduces the likelihood of you experiencing problem behaviours later in life. You'll learn how to deal with common puppy challenges such as toilet training, nipping, jumping up, barking and managing time apart.

In addition, two live zoom sessions offer you the opportunity to ask ALL of your doggy questions.

You'll receive training notes, a goody bag, a 10% discount off a Haqihana harness and email support for life!

Frequently asked questions

Who is Steph?

Steph is a dog trainer & behaviour consultant with over 10 years experience training dogs. She has had 2 books published including 'How to Raise a Puppy: A Dog-centric Approach', co-authored with the world-renowned dog expert Turid Rugaas. She teaches @the Nordic Education Centre for Dog Trainers

How many puppies in each group?

Ideally, I like to have 4-5 puppies in each group. Occasionally, groups may have just 3 puppies, and on very rare occasions, I might have 6 puppies (usually to accommodate families with multiple puppies!).

What do we learn in the park sessions?

You'll learn practical life skills to keep your dog safe including 'leave it', 'drop it', recall, road safety, 'follow me'. We also look at teaching loose lead walking. The puppy have the opportunity to play in a safe environment & do some scent games.

How do the zoom sessions work?

You will have access to 4 zoom recordings dealing with common problems such as toilet training, nipping, jumping up and separation anxiety. There will also be two live Q&A sessions (week 1&4) where you can ask all of your puppy related questions!

What happens if I can't make a session?

If you can't make a session due to holidays/illness etc., you can either make up that session with a previous or subsequent group, or I can arrange to stay behind and catch you up on anything you missed after another session.
