Join us for a fun-filled weekend celebrating the bounty of Kerry with music, food, and community at the Kerry Harvest Gathering Weekend!

<h2>Kerry Harvest Gathering Weekend</h2> We are delighted to invite you to our Harvest Gathering Weekend in Kerry, hosted by The Kerry Biosphere, Transition Kerry and Kerry County Council.This is a weekend event is filled with connection, inspiration and immersion in nurturing places with talks, walks and workshops in various locations, there is something for everyone.Over the weekend we are offering a variety of workshops to get you outdoors exploring the landscape and immersing yourself in the unique nature of Kerry.Workshop are offered in 3 time blocks over the weekend, each workshop will run for 2 hours. you can only attend one option from each time slot. There is a charge of €10 per person for each workshop.On Saturday evening we are also officially launching the Birds of the Biosphere ID swatch, in ANAM arts and cultural centre in Killarney. Join us from 7.30 – 9pm. Opening talks will be given by Eleanor Turner, Biodiversity Officer for Kerry County Council, Brendan Kirwan, Biosphere Officer with SKDP, Danny O’ Keefe, Regional Manager for Killarney National Park, NPWS. These will be followed by Daire O’ Hare Doherty, Ecologist with ACRES south Kerry/west cork area who will share some of his experiences surveying birds and other wildlife in the uplands of Kerry and West Cork.Attendees at the launch will receive a free Birds of the Biosphere ID swatch.The Saturday evening talks are taking place in Anam in Killarney.
